- 6 oz. manchego cheese, thinly sliced with a cheese plane.
- 6 thin slices of hearty bread (like my early colonial sour-dough).
- Spread cheese in single layer on bread slices.
- Broil 4 minutes or until cheese turns golden brown.
- You can cut slices into quarters if they are large.
- Serve immediately or keep warm in warm oven.
I have served this as a party appetizer to good reviews.
