Frozen Bananas with Chocolate Syrup
Prep time: About 5 minute
Cooking time: none, but you need time to freeze bananas
Makes: 2 servings
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 2 T. chocolate syrup
- Put 1 cup of cold water in a mixing bowl. Add the lemon juice.
- Slice the banana into the water (to keep the banana from turning brown).
- Drain the banana slices and freeze, loosely packed.
- Break up frozen bananas, separate into two bowls, and top with chocolate.
I was looking for a low-cal version of a banana split so I left out the ice cream.
Then I tried freezing the bananas and found they have a crunchy texture.
They taste good even without the chocolate.
