Sesame Tilapia

Makes: 2 servings
Ingredients
- 2 4 - 5 oz tilapia fillets
- 2 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 t. diced or grated ginger
- 2 T. sesame oil
- 2 t. low sodium soy sauce
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 1/2 lemon, sliced
Directions
- Heat a dry skillet to medium heat.
- Place fillets on a plate and top with ginger, green onions and lemon slices
- Carefully transfer fillets to skillet topped with some salt and pepper
- Drizzle sesame oil and soy sauce over the filets.
- Immediately add 3/4 cup water to the skillet, tightly cover and steam 7 minutes.
- Place fillets on plates and reduce liquid to make a sauce to pour over the fish.
Good served with steamed rice. Based on a recipe from Nova, a neighbor.
