Dried Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 5 oz. white mushrooms
Directions
- The pilot light in my gas oven keeps the oven at 105 deg. F. when the door is ajar about 2 inches.
- Cut mushrooms into 1/4 inch slices.
- Spread mushrooms in single layer on drying racks.
- Leave overnight at about 105 deg. F
- Sprinkle in soups or on salads.
- You can also eat them as appetizers.The more you chew them, the more the umami flavor builds.
You might also experiment with using a crockpot overnight set on low overnight.
Perhaps an air fryer might also work set on low.
