Chicken Stew with Lemon

  1. Coat chicken with flour.

  2. Heat olive oil in skillet. Brown chicken about 5 minutes on one side.

  3. Turn chicken. Add mushrooms, carrots, onions around chicken and brown another 5 minutes.

  4. Add all other ingredients except for green pepper and lemon juice. Cook covered 10 minutes.

  5. Add green pepper and lemon juice, cover, and simmer another 10 minutes.

  6. Pour broth into 2 soup bowls as a first course (with bread).

  7. Serve stew with bread and salad.
